1. On May 15, Mountain House notified dealers that demand is five times last year's levels and that they have to stop taking orders for their canned foods for several months in order to catch up. Current back-orders are now out into July, so for those who submitted orders in the first half of May--please be patient ... you are not forgotten.
2. Remaining outstanding Mountain House 3-case-kit orders out there are still expected to ship by the end of May.
3. We have removed our Mountain House can-case listings until further notice (probably the September/October timeframe). See #6 below ... when we have our bulk order of MH cans in, we will offer a special buy opportunity to our members.
4. Mountain House pouch foods remain available.
5. Other food suppliers are reporting imminent depletions of available stocks of a multitude of products. We are trying to stay current on availability for foods that dropship so that our listings are only for foods that are currently available. When a product is removed from our store, we will re-list it again as soon as we are notified it is again ready to ship.
6. We have placed bulk orders for a wide range of foods (including a final order of Mountain House cans) and expect to be able to respond to our members' needs in many respects through the summer, though not in offering the full range of products we are accustomed to making available.
